Long distance relationships (LDRs) are on the rise! Almost ¾ of all married couples these days have been in an LDR at some point 😮

Unfortunately while there’s so much advice about how to have a successful relationship, there’s unfortunately not much on how to have a successful long distance relationship.

That’s why we partnered with a Relationship Psychologist with over 30 years of experience and interviewed dozens of couples to unlock the secrets to a successful long distance relationship. We’ve outlined a preview of those secrets for below!

1) Learn to love your partner, how they want to be loved

“Love is a choice you make every day.” - Gary Chapman

Love comes in many forms and each of us expresses it in our own unique ways. Whether we’re conscious of it or not, we also like to receive love in a particular way. When you’re in an LDR, it’s especially important to understand each other’s preferences because the distance means you will have to work a little harder to show affection and appreciation.

Activity: learn and discuss each other’s love languages through this quiz and discuss your results.

2) Communicate like your life depends on it

When you're in an LDR, much of your relationship will be strengthened and sustained through text messages, calls, and video chats. You can't rely on physical touch or the ability to experience things together as a way to bond, so alternate communication tools are key. It’s so important for long distance partners to be intentional about their communication to ensure both sides are on the same page.

Activity: This is one of the first chapters in The #LDR Activity Book! Each chapter comes with a fun and interactive activity to complete with it.

3) Nail Your In Real Life (IRL) Visits

“The pain of parting is nothing to the joy of meeting again.” - Charles Dickens

Getting ready for an In Real Life (IRL) reunion can be such a high. After so much time stuck behind a screen, you’re finally going to hug, touch and experience all of the things! However, when your time together is so short, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by the pressure of needing everything to go well. That’s why it’s so important to prepare for these monumental visits!

Activity: In this chapter of The LDR Activity Book, we help you plan your next vacation to a bucket list destination! Get access to dozens of long distance relationship activities by buying the book today!

4) Don’t let distance douse your fire

While routines and reliability can be important in an LDR, it’s just as important to take the time to come up with unique ideas to keep your spark alive. You just have to be a bit more creative!

🔥 Activity: Send each other a steamy email, text (or better yet, snail mail!) at some point in the next week and see where to conversation goes…

5) Establish a foundation of trust

“All the world is made of faith, and trust, and pixie dust.” - Peter Pan

As the saying goes…trust is hard to gain and easy to lose. When you’re in an LDR, potentially living quite separate lives, you’ll need to work extra hard to ensure you’re building trust even while being physically separated.

Activity: This activity involves bonding over shared secrets. Grab your copies of The #LDR Activity Book today and unlock dozens of activities to make your long distance relationship successful.

Cheating can be so nasty and painful i know, because i have had my own shared experience of it, endless thinking and thoughts did not work much until I took the decision of spying on my woman. I was lucky enough to have one of the best hackers globally, I approached maestroencrypter @ financier. com to help hack into her phone and laptop, obtain all her contacts with other men from outside, I got all her call history, messages, emails, active and deleted messages on facebook, whatsapp, Skype and other social media sites. He also helped me obtain some videos and private sites where she dates other guys. We broke up. I would have had more suffering if I hadn't…
